Construction is underway on new and upgraded compressor stations that will tie into Rockies Express Pipeline and create up to 800,000 dekatherms a day of additional natural gas transportation capacity from the Appalachian Basin to high-demand Midwestern gas markets. This project will bring REX’s total Zone 3 east-to-west transportation capacity to 2.6 million dekatherms per day and is on schedule to be in service Q4 2016.
